Eyes Wide Shut | by Meredith Shayne Sep. 24, 2011 | 8438 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: A scientist in a past life, these days Meredith Shayne mainly uses her scientific training to poke holes in television pseudoscience. Originally from Australia, she moved to New Zealand to start a new life a few years ago and hasn't regretted it for one minute, even if she frequently wishes that the New Zealand weather was a little better; if she's forced, she'll admit that the refreshing lack of animals that can kill you in New Zealand makes up for a little rain. Meredith travels a lot, so much so that she has developed a shameful love of airplane food and knows her passport number by heart. When she is at home, she enjoys baking, horrible music from the 1980s, reality television, and gloating any time Australia thrashes the living daylights out of New Zealand on the sporting field. Training Timmy | by Andy McAllister Sep. 23, 2011 | 5783 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: God, where do I start? Raised all boy only to discover I was all girl inside. Ok, maybe that's an oversimplification. I'm not a girl inside. I love men and women, but sexually and romantically I prefer men over women. Is that better? Yeah, sometimes I have the desire to go through the "big change" and actually become a girl and other times I am happy just being me, male on the outside and female on the inside. I have friends who are male and not sexually involved with them and I have friends who are female and females I sometimes get physically entangled with. God, this is confusing and interlapping. Maybe I should just say - I'm ME and let it go at that? I love everyone - too well. Panda Andy |

Let's Make a Deal | by Bad Penny Press Sep. 14, 2011 | 3957 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: Bad Penny Press provides hardcore erotica that doesn't necessarily cross the line, but proudly stomps all over it. Our most popular stories center around "family-friendly" erotica, where love and lust know no bounds, just respected limits, but keep it all in the family. And there are many stories of cross-generational gay and heterosexual encounters, those demonstrating that an age difference makes no difference when it comes to sexual hunger, are the current primary focus. With PayPal's recent decision to back off from demanding that incestuous content no longer be offered on Smashwords, we are happily republishing our collections. Some Bad Penny Press stories spring from fertile imaginations, while a number of them are based upon true experiences. Rape and BDSM stories do not have a home here. Color Me | by Blaine D. Arden Aug. 14, 2011 | 16356 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: Blaine is a purple haired, forty-something, writer of gay fiction with a love of men, music, mystery, magic, fairies (the pointy eared ones), platform shoes and the colours black, purple and red, who sings her way through life. Born and raised in Zutphen, the Netherlands, Blaine spent many hours of her sheltered youth reading, day dreaming, making up stories and acting them out with her barbies. Though she wrote her first gay fiction as a teenager, Blaine's true inspiration comes from the wonderful gay romance called 'Beautiful Thing' — adaptation of the play by Jonathan Harvey — through which she gained some very dear gay friends and a postponed bout of puberty that caused an introverted and shy Blaine to finally grow into herself. Supporting Blaine in all matters regarding household, teenagers, cairn terrier Kendra and pursuing her dreams, is her long-suffering husband for over twenty years. When not writing, reading or at choir practice, Blaine has singing lessons and hopes to be in a band someday. |

But what can I say? These are the things that go through my head, the fantasies that I keep secret from everyone I know for fear of repercussion. Some are bodice-rippers, some are extra-naughty, some are wholly inappropriate, but all of them are the things that run through my mind while I'm busy being an upstanding Christian Mommy to everyone I know...and a Naughty Mommy to those I don't. Enjoy. I do. |

A Solitary Flame | by Katica Locke July 19, 2011 | 15281 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: I learned at a young age that books were precious and that the written word was a powerful means of communication. Since I have social anxiety and find it hard to speak to people, writing has become my voice. I’m able to say what I really think and feel without the irrational worry that comes with speaking. I grew up and still live in Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley. I’m within walking distance of the Willamette River, and a couple hours’ drive from both the coast and the mountains. Since writing doesn’t pay the bills yet, I also work for the school district, as an educational assistant at the same elementary school that I attended. I love camping, hiking, bird watching, and rock-hounding and spend my free time writing, reading, or watching TV, movies, and sporting events. I’m a huge football, bullriding, and NASCAR fan. I’ve been writing stories since I was ten, and in all these years, the one constant in my writing has always been the magic, the supernatural, the inexplicable. Nothing inspires me like fantasy, be it dragons or vampires, faeries or demons. I’m fascinated by human interaction, probably because I’m so bad at it, and few things in life bring out the raw intensity of human emotion like love and sex. Even when writing about faeries or demons or fantasy cultures, the needs are universal. Love is love, no matter what planet you’re on. Love is not the domain of the rich, or the powerful, or the beautiful. It belongs to everyone and that’s why I enjoy writing erotica. The fact that guy-on-guy action is really hot doesn’t hurt, either. You can find my M/M Fantasy novel Magebound at Amazon.com or through most other booksellers. You can find my Erotic M/M Fantasy e-books through Shadowfire Press. |

| Author bio: Alisha Steele lives in Ontario, Canada, with two men, two boys, a dog and a cat, and when she's not busy cleaning up after the lot of 'em she quite enjoys writing smut... Erm, that is to say, 'erotica'. She writes all kinds of sm--erotica. Under the pen name 'Alisha Steele' you'll find her het, menage, and some LGBT stuff, and under just 'A. Steele' there's a few more of her M/M stories. The genres Alisha prefers to pen are contemporary, contemporary/paranormal, and highly erotic takes on the traditional Greek myths. 'Who Will Know?', Alisha's first published story, was nominated for the Gaylactic Spectrum award in 2007 and her first novel, 'The Summoner', was the inspiration for and very first recipient of 'The Erotic Must Read' award at Rogues and Romance Reviews. Editors have called her work, 'transcendent', 'edgy' and 'witty', while reviewers rave about the 'harsh sensuality' of her prose, and of course the 'hot, hot, sex.' |

Dare Not Ask The Dead | by Madeira Desouza Oct. 08, 2010 | 20392 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: I was born in the United States into a Portuguese-American culture dominated by the Roman Catholic Church. That culture showed no room for anything but macho and tough males, who were expected to produce babies after getting married to a subservient woman. In that culture, the more tough a man looked and acted, and the higher the number of offspring he generated earned him a higher perceived masculinity. Growing up in that culture ensured my social programming was to think that I was straight. Eventually, I discovered the truth that I am gay and then I had to redefine and remake myself. My formal university education was in journalism, which taught me the art and craft of storytelling, photography, news reporting, etc. In the professional context, I learned that telling a story is an essential ingredient if one wants to connect with an audience. I am unlike many gay authors. I tell stories and create illustrations about masculine men involved with one another to provoke the viewer. I have seen all my life how straight people do not like to see masculine men showing affection towards one another. Straight people will accept drag shows and comedies about effeminate gay men. And why not? Those are non-threatening. But, if masculine men are depicted in a story or images showing sexual interest in one another, oh boy, that suddenly becomes very threatening to straight people! Some gay men I have encountered also find it uncomfortable to witness masculine men showing sexual interest in one another. Gays relegate such masculine men to the pejorative category of being “too butch.†For all of these reasons, I choose to provoke the viewer in my stories and illustrations. Check out this URL where I have one page that provides an insider's tour of my time travel trilogy to help readers have a richer experience: http://mondomacho.com/men/stories/dare-not-ask-the-dead/author-comments/ |

Since then he has written many stories, none of which he submitted for publication until recently. He is thrilled to be published in two Alyson Books anthologies: Island Boys published August 2008 and Best Gay Love Stories 2009, publication date not yet determined. Generally, he says he sees a hot man and constructs a fantasy story around him. Sometime, a situation inspires him and a story will take shape in his mind, which is then populated from his imagination. As a bureaucrat in local government, Kenn claims to find few outlets outside of fiction for his innate creativity and is pleased others are interested in reading what he writes. |

A Real Boy | by JL Merrow Dec. 11, 2009 | 8101 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: JL MERROW is that rare beast: an English person who refuses to drink tea. Having grown up by the seaside, she also loathes fish and chips. She read Natural Sciences at Cambridge, where she learned many things, chief amongst which was that she never wanted to see the inside of a lab ever again. Her one regret is that she never mastered the ability of punting one-handed whilst holding a glass of champagne. She writes across genres, with a preference for contemporaries and the paranormal, and is frequently accused of humour. |
