| Farm Girl | by Francis Porretto Aug. 22, 2010 | 15518 words | Read a sample |
| Allan Fitzgerald, once a Manhattan lawyer, has retreated from life. His wife has left him, as has his enthusiasm for his trade. He expects to pass the remainder of his days alone, reading cheap novels and falling asleep before the television, until an itinerant farm hand, a young woman looking for work who's hitched all the way from Kansas, wanders onto his porch on a breezy late-April day... | |||
| Author bio: Francis W. Porretto was born in 1952. Things went steadily downhill from there. Fran is an engineer and fictioneer who lives on the east end of Long Island, New York. He's short, bald, homely, has bad acne and crooked teeth. His neighbors hold him personally responsible for the decline in local property values. His life is graced by one wife, two stepdaughters, one dog, five cats, too many power tools to list, and an old ranch house furnished in Early Mesozoic style. His 12,000 volume (and growing) personal library is considered a major threat to the stability of the North American tectonic plate. Publishing industry professionals describe Fran's novels as "Unpublishable. Horrible, but unpublishable all the same." (They don't think much of his short stories, either.) He's thought of trying bribery, but isn't sure he can afford the $3.95. Time was, all Fran's fictions WERE free to whoever might care to read them. Back then, he wanted readers more than revenue. However, that has changed, along with certain other of his circumstances, so he now asks what he hopes you'll consider a modest price for his novels and stories. (The novelette "Farm Girl" is still free. A loss leader, if you will.) | The Comfort of a Woman | by Severin Rossetti Dec. 09, 2010 | 3290 words | Read a sample |
| She wonders how her friend can have such a happy married life, such a fulfilled one, and is surprised to learn the answer... and then suprised again! | |||
| Author bio: Severin Rossetti was a teacher of fine art, but now works in a Liverpool museum/gallery, less money but a lot less stress. At the same time that he turned from teaching fine art, he also turned from its practice -have you seen the crap that passes for fine art these days?!?- to concentrate on writing. After many rejection slips he finally had some encouragement. 'Interesting,' said one editor, 'but it lacks passion. Spice it up a bit.' Which he did, only to be told 'wow!'... 'well!'... 'spiced up, yes, but we can't possibly publish this!' Fortunately, others could, with the result that his erotic stories have been published in the UK and the USA in various magazines and anthologies. Novels and short story collections have also been published in the US by Renaissance Ebooks.com. If the erotic genre is not your thing, however, please note that also available on Smashwords are more 'serious' works, some for sale but many for free. Strange, though, that the erotic genre is proving the most popular, and especially the free ones. So... a cry from the heart... feel free to try the free ones but PLEASE, also, splash out a dollar or two if you can afford it! And if you want to know any more, please contact the author at severinrossetti@aol.com |

| Author bio: Are you tired of sex stories that leave you feeling cheap and dirty? Hard core erotica that fills your mind with filthy and offensive language, unwanted violence or crude images, when all you want to do is spice up the sex life with your husband or wife? In addition to my career as a published writer, I am also an avid reader, and I feel your pain. I decided to write my own clean erotica for my husband and I, and when friends and family reviewed the stories for their own relationships, they kept urging me to share these with the general public. I hadn't realized just how in-demand, clean and pure married erotica really is until that moment and from that realization came the release of spicy bedtime e-stories for couples. I certainly welcome your comments on my e-books, as well as any suggestions you may have for future releases. I also custom write individual e-books, which make great gifts for your significant other. Please frame all requests within the boundaries of God's moral code- I will not write erotica outside of the marital bond. I will not write stories involving violence or pain. I hope that you enjoy these stories with your sweetheart and will use them to liven up your marriage. Keep in mind that God created sex for pleasure and intends it to be fun and creative. God Bless~Janae |

| Author bio: I must in all honesty, update this entry, for I stumbled onto the magic key to post a story on Smashwords. It was operator error not one of the poltergeist that I’m sure came preloaded in my computer that prevents me from getting what I want from it. For those of you who didn’t read this bio before—which I’m sure includes the rest of the world’s population—I repeat: I am an old man who loves to write. I started decades ago—the exact number is irrelevant—on a cast iron framed manual typewriter that would now serve little purpose beyond a boat anchor. I love composing fiction on the computer, mainly because of the spell check feature. Why someone who can’t spell worth a damn wants to write, I’ll never be able to explain. I take solace in the knowledge that some well-known writers throughout history were so afflicted. However, I must confess, that is about as far as I can go into this—to me—frightening world of cyberspace. I don’t have accounts on face book (wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole. Almost nightly the news is filled with stories of people murdered by people they have contacted there.) I feel the same way about Myspace, a blog or personal web site. I don’t tweet or twit or what ever that is. That really seems silly--just call them and talk! So I’ll be contented to write and enjoy retirement until the final heartbeat or wayward city buss runs me over. |

| Her Massage | by Rushmore Judd April 01, 2011 | 2354 words | Read a sample |
| As a professional masseuse for twelve years he had never before crossed the line but her beauty and youthful encouragement was too much to resist. All of his good intentions are eroded as he responds to each of her subtle hints. He is drawn in deeper and deeper into a a whirlpool of emotion overriding any logic his profession required. | |||
| Author bio: Rushmore Judd began writing erotic stories in the early 1990's. When the internet arrived, he finally found an outlet for his stories and what was a hobby became an avocation. Publishing on a few websites he developed a loyal following that encouraged him. His writing is straight forward in its descriptions without a heavy reliance on euphemisms. Frequently someone in the story is pushing a boundary, exploring new experiences or crossing a forbidden line. It is the struggle between conscience and lust that characterizes many of his stories. Others have accused him of being a woman who only pretends to be a man because of his intimate understanding of the way a woman reacts and thinks. He prefers to think of himself as a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. Some have suggested that his readings become required reading for young men and teens. His stories project a positive view of sex and seduction. In 2010 he started his own website (www.rushmorejudd.com) and in April of 2011 he published his first story on Smashwords.com. Rushmore has had a successful career as a business consultant and in that capacity he has traveled the world, living in Europe for a time. Currently he lives in the beautiful Berkshire region of New England with his wife. If you are dissatisfied with any story you purchased from me, please contact me at rushmore.judd at gmail.com. Comments and ratings are very much appreciated. |

| A woman takes a chance on love. | |||
| Author bio: I'm 29 and work in a corporate-type office and tend to lean towards workaholic when it gets really busy. Sadly, I'm quite shy, so it's nice to have an alter-ego where I can really be ME. I am a voracious reader and have been reading romance for about the past two years, though I enjoy many genres. I am addicted to my e-reader and it goes with me everywhere. Sitting at a stoplight? Read a few pages. Taking a break at work? Read a few pages. Have time for a lunch? Read as many pages as I can cram into my hour. It's an addiction, but hey, not a bad addiction to have! Follow me on Twitter: @Eviant00 |

| Author bio: This is my place of erotic creative exploration, as I expand into "edgier" areas of expression. Short stories, poetry, journals, and any other written expression that works here. My writing style is candid and raw, and I'm very new to this genere. I love sexual energy and sacred sexuality, but I'll also delve into places where that connection isn't so powerful or sacred. Some of this is drawn from my own experiences, some is an exploration in whatever direction I'm feeling into. |
