Author bio:
Lord Koga is the pen name for a local Grand Rapids, Michigan Author, whom for the last 4 years has been writing in the specific genres of Erotic Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Lesbian Fiction, Romantic Fiction, Horror/sci-fi/fantasy erotica, as well as capture, S & M, BDSM fiction. The pen name “Lord Koga,” has been shortened over the years from its original name Lord Kogarasumaru. The origins of the name Kogarasumaru “Little Crow” is derive from a unique Japanese tachi sword rumored to have been created by legendary Japanese smith Amakuni during 8th century CE. The “little Crow” is considered to be unique as it is a bridge between the old double edge blades of Japan and the more modern version which eventually became known as Katana. Thus, the author that writes under this shortened pen name, desired to use it as a way to describe his writing style as a bit of old school mixed with new techniques. In some ways, considering the Genre in which he writes, it makes some since in the oddity of things, but as this is Veenstra Publishing, we love the oddity of authors, too out there for mainstream publishing to comprehend. Currently Lord Koga has over 68 titles out in e-book format and 4 titles in both print and ebook format. Lord Koga’s printed works include: Knights of Came-a-lot: The Fall of Acheron; Beyond their Control: Erotic Tales of Cheating Wives & the Man the Desired Them All; The Virgin Chronicles: A Beyond their Control Erotic Series; Dare to be Ravished: Beyond Her Control Erotic Series Currently Lord Koga has 15 titles listed on the best sellers list/top rated list in both action/adventure, Teen, and Lesbian subcategories on the All Romance E-book website.

Author bio:
I have one grandfather who was a builder. My other grandfather was a stonemason and my father was a traditional blacksmith. Both my grandmothers had cooked for a living, one in a hotel and the other for well-to-do people. A career in construction or perhaps engineering or catering would have been obvious choices. Instead, I spent 20 years in business and in mid life retrained myself. I chose to work with my hands as my father and grandparents had. I become a renowned woodcraftsman and founded with my wife an art and craft gallery in a Tasmanian tourist town. After 20 years there, we followed our children to mainland Australia to retire on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula. I took up writing seriously in 2003. Working with their hands, creating and shaping materials has occupied my forebear. From stone, to iron, to wood. Now I spend my time putting pen to paper. The medium is getting softer.

Bad Penny Press provides hardcore erotica that doesn't necessarily cross the line, but proudly stomps all over it. Our most popular stories center around "family-friendly" erotica, where love and lust know no bounds, just respected limits, but keep it all in the family. And there are many stories of cross-generational gay and heterosexual encounters, those demonstrating that an age difference makes no difference when it comes to sexual hunger, are the current primary focus. With PayPal's recent decision to back off from demanding that incestuous content no longer be offered on Smashwords, we are happily republishing our collections. Some Bad Penny Press stories spring from fertile imaginations, while a number of them are based upon true experiences. Rape and BDSM stories do not have a home here. Please enjoy Bad Penny Press in moderation. Aw, hell... take as much as you want!

Author bio:
When I was younger I always had an interest in trying to do some writing, but it never came to much at all. About five years after I was forced to give up working due to disability I was finally able to take the step that had eluded me for years. My first experiment with writing was to try to write a 50,000 word novel in one month, using the parameters of the website National Novel Writing Month. It was a challenge I was fortunately able to complete, and I guess that got me over my initial hesitation. It's a website I would recommend to anyone who would like to try their hand at writing. I don't spend all of my time with this hobby as I still have my primary hobby of pursuing my family genealogy. The limitations placed on me with my MS also keeps me from spending as much time writing as I would like to sometimes. Add to that my normal bad habit of procrastination, and sometimes I wonder how I ever managed to get anything done.

I write erotic stories. You can call it smut, I don’t mind. I prefer the term speculative erotica as there are often elements of science fiction, horror, and/or fantasy in my work. I write erotic crime stories, too. Other times I just put a personal fantasy on paper or embellish an encounter that really happened to me. I hope you find that my stories aren’t like anything else. If you’re looking for erotic stories that aren’t the norm, that are neither tasteless nor prude, you found your writer.

Briefs (A Collection of Short Stories) by Rushmore Judd Briefs (A Collection of Short Stories) by Rushmore Judd Aug. 25, 2011 17691 words Read a sample
Author bio:
Rushmore Judd began writing erotic stories in the early 1990's. When the internet arrived, he finally found an outlet for his stories and what was a hobby became an avocation. Publishing on a few websites he developed a loyal following that encouraged him. His writing is straight forward in its descriptions without a heavy reliance on euphemisms. Frequently someone in the story is pushing a boundary, exploring new experiences or crossing a forbidden line. It is the struggle between conscience and lust that characterizes many of his stories. Others have accused him of being a woman who only pretends to be a man because of his intimate understanding of the way a woman reacts and thinks. He prefers to think of himself as a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. Some have suggested that his readings become required reading for young men and teens. His stories project a positive view of sex and seduction. In 2010 he started his own website (www.rushmorejudd.com) and in April of 2011 he published his first story on Smashwords.com. Rushmore has had a successful career as a business consultant and in that capacity he has traveled the world, living in Europe for a time. Currently he lives in the beautiful Berkshire region of New England with his wife. If you are dissatisfied with any story you purchased from me, please contact me at rushmore.judd at gmail.com. Comments and ratings are very much appreciated.

A For Effort by Francis Porretto A For Effort by Francis Porretto Oct. 28, 2011 4832 words Read a sample
Author bio:
Francis W. Porretto was born in 1952. Things went steadily downhill from there. Fran is an engineer and fictioneer who lives on the east end of Long Island, New York. He's short, bald, homely, has bad acne and crooked teeth. His neighbors hold him personally responsible for the decline in local property values. His life is graced by one wife, two stepdaughters, one dog, five cats, too many power tools to list, and an old ranch house furnished in Early Mesozoic style. His 12,000 volume (and growing) personal library is considered a major threat to the stability of the North American tectonic plate. Publishing industry professionals describe Fran's novels as "Unpublishable. Horrible, but unpublishable all the same." (They don't think much of his short stories, either.) He's thought of trying bribery, but isn't sure he can afford the $3.95. Time was, all Fran's fictions WERE free to whoever might care to read them. Back then, he wanted readers more than revenue. However, that has changed, along with certain other of his circumstances, so he now asks what he hopes you'll consider a modest price for his novels and stories. (The novelette "Farm Girl" is still free. A loss leader, if you will.) I Burn For You: an Erotic Short Story by Mercy Loomis I Burn For You: an Erotic Short Story by Mercy Loomis Oct. 31, 2011 3760 words Read a sample
Author bio:
Mercy Loomis grew up in a haunted house, and has had quite enough of ghosts for one lifetime, thank you. Though she now lives in a 150-year-old house, it is remarkably ghost-free. (That, or they’re staying on the down-low. She doesn’t care which.) Mercy finished writing her first vampire novel when she was in middle school, and hasn’t stopped writing about them since. She loves stories about the paranormal because monsters are scary, but less scary than real people. Or at least less depressing. Mercy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison one class short of an accidental certificate in Folklore. She credits her love of mythology to her mom reading Greek myths as bedtime stories, and her love of fantastical adventure stories to watching cheesy movies with her dad. Her love of history (and coffee!) is completely her husband’s fault, but she doesn’t know who’s to blame for the fascination with physics. She guesses that hanging out with Dad while he butchered deer also had an effect on her character, but exactly what effect, she leaves up to the reader. See what Mercy’s up to and find links to her other work at www.mercyloomis.com.
