| Author bio: Although I am currently happy and high functioning, I have had a long history of mental illness, including endogenous depression, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. My book "How to Be Free", for which I used the name Joe Blow, is an articulation of the ideas which have been useful to me in freeing myself from these conditions. If asked whether these ideas have provided me with a secure foundation for emotional stability, happiness and flowering creativity, I would reply, “Well, so far so good.†I also write humorous erotica under the pseudonym Aussiescribbler. In many ways my playful, irreverent and anarchic fiction is another form of expression of the approach to life I advocate in "How to Be Free". |

Her strongest magickal powers are the ability to cast candle spells and communicating with those who have passed with a spirit board or through her dreams. When starting a new project she never knows where her characters might decide to take her. Sometimes it feels like she’s merely taking dictation from the voices running amok inside her head. Witches and pro wrestlers might seem like a strange combination, but Jezebel has spent most of her adult life around the inner workings of the wrestling business. She’s been a fan, ring rat (groupie), ring girl, valet, live-in girlfriend and lover and confidant to some of the most creative minds in the wrestling industry. When she’s not writing, Jezebel likes to get lost in a good book. She is owned by a 99.9 lb. spoiled rotten Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees mix named Harry Potter. |

| Mouse Trap | by Sophie Duncan June 03, 2011 | 10592 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: I also write with my sister under Tasha-and-Sophie Duncan, and for some of my adult fiction as A D Benedict. By day I am a project manager developing IT solutions for a large company in the South East of England. By night, you'll find me scribbling away at many a story that just won't leave me alone. I've been writing since I was a wee thing, and publishing since I discovered the internet in 1994 or so. So what do I write? Contemporary and urban fantasy have mainly been my playground, but I have done some real world settings as well. I do like mystery and have been reading (and watching) Agatha Christie since I was a child. I've also been known to do a bit of poetry. Style: I have been told I do angst well, so if you want your heartstrings twanged, or your tummy to tie in knots until the end, then I'm your gal. I am, however, a happy ending junkie, although I do throw a hint of realism in there sometimes as well. I like a few twists and turns on the way in some of my plots, although I have written my share of PWPs as well. I have to admit a small obsession with eyes: I believe they are the seat of beauty in a person, so I play with them in creature fic and use them for expression in others - personal hang up, sorry. Also, I have never met a cliché I didn't like and I am a firm believer that cliché is fine if you do it right. Writing is a passion and there's nothing better than writing for an audience. Any writer who says they don't care about feedback must have had an ego amputation :) If you life my scribbles, I'd be very glad to hear from you. |

| The Best Man | by Brandi Quick June 24, 2011 | 10443 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: Brandi Quick is a pseudonym used for the author’s erotic romances. The author, who also writes in other genres, took early retirement from a business career and is now a full-time writer. Born and reared in Georgia several decades ago, the author’s life has been enriched by extensive travel and a variety of interesting jobs. Having a truly idiosyncratic family and a facility for getting to know distinctive people is all it takes to ensure the creation of engaging plots, unique characters, and enticing locations. Why a pseudonym? Because so much of the creative process is based in real-life experience, it could be indiscreet to use the author’s real name for this genre’s intimate details. |

However, unlike with the M.W's, these books are for young adults. She loves to read and write, and TALK about reading and writing, so if you've read any good books lately, drop her a line! | Author bio: I must in all honesty, update this entry, for I stumbled onto the magic key to post a story on Smashwords. It was operator error not one of the poltergeist that I’m sure came preloaded in my computer that prevents me from getting what I want from it. For those of you who didn’t read this bio before—which I’m sure includes the rest of the world’s population—I repeat: I am an old man who loves to write. I started decades ago—the exact number is irrelevant—on a cast iron framed manual typewriter that would now serve little purpose beyond a boat anchor. I love composing fiction on the computer, mainly because of the spell check feature. Why someone who can’t spell worth a damn wants to write, I’ll never be able to explain. I take solace in the knowledge that some well-known writers throughout history were so afflicted. However, I must confess, that is about as far as I can go into this—to me—frightening world of cyberspace. I don’t have accounts on face book (wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole. Almost nightly the news is filled with stories of people murdered by people they have contacted there.) I feel the same way about Myspace, a blog or personal web site. I don’t tweet or twit or what ever that is. That really seems silly--just call them and talk! So I’ll be contented to write and enjoy retirement until the final heartbeat or wayward city buss runs me over. |

When we write together, words ignite and can make a raging fire of new ideas. 'Brief Encounters' - is a novella which tells the story of relationship that develops by email and text from a chance phone call. What happens when they finally meet. 'Sex Games' - is an anthology of our short story erotica, to dip in and see what we get up to. Both available from Smashwords. x Mouna |

It is titled "A New Beginning" and it is now published! I believe it is the best in the series and slightly over 20,000 words. I hope when you read my stories, you can connect with the characters and envision the scenes in your mind. My short stories are for entertainment only. Thank you for reading. |
