Have you seen Japanese Porn? No that's not a film title, and yes I know it wasn't a good idea to italicise it in that case, but there's a thing called continuity.

The Japanese are a truly weird race. The women appear to be utterly subservient and the men look like dominant misogynists with a very unhealthy imagination. I'm not sure if those are genetic traits or the result of social pressures, but whatever, it's not a good mix, and if you apply it to the porn genre, you end up with a decidedly odd plot routine.

One aspect is called Chikan – put crudely, it involves groping women on crowded forms of public transport. Trains, buses, but not planes, because the latter mode of transport does not get over-booked. The misogynists go round in small packs looking for subservient women who seem to spend the entire episode looking down at their feet hoping that it's not really happening.
